On the 1 day Rwanda gorilla tour, you will link up with a guide at Kigali Airport as early as 4 am, and you will be briefed about the day’s Rwanda gorilla tour. You will After the interaction, start the drive to Volcanoes National Park that will take about 2 to 3 hours. You will arrive at the park headquarters for a briefing, you will have breakfast briefly and set off with a packed lunch to the forest for a gorilla trek. You will have the company of an armed ranger guide who will lead the way. You will have many encounters with other primates, mammals and birds on the search for the gorillas. You will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours searching for the gorillas, and after finding them, you will have 1 hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat, taking videos and pictures of them. You will observe them and see how they behave, feed, play and many more.
After the gorilla trek, you will have your packed lunch meal while on a Rwanda Tour and then head for a hike to Dian Fossey Tomb. At Dian Fossey Tomb, you will get a glance at the tomb of the American primatologist Dian Fossey, who was laid to rest. Dian Fossey dedicated her life to protecting the mountain gorillas, and you will also be able to see the grave of Digit, the beloved primate of Dian Fossey. You will learn about the gorillas and the history associated with the gorillas and Dian Fossey. After the visit and interaction with the guide, you will then return to the park headquarters and be taken back to Kigali. You will arrive at Kigali Airport, where you will take your flight.
