Detailed itinerary of 11 days Uganda safari
Day 1: pick-up from Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel in Kampala, where you will have dinner and overstay.

Day 2: transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Enjoy the breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will be picked up by your driver who will give a brief introduction about himself, and the trip of 11 days in Uganda. After you will start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, on the Gulu highway, where you will have a stopover in Luwero town for relaxation, and continue to Ziwa Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.
During this, you will be able to spot the black and white rhinos, which are only found in two protected areas in Uganda, that is the UGANDA WILDLIFE EDUCATION CENTER and ZIWA SANCTUARY. After, have a stopover in Masindi in any hotel for lunch and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park in the evening, drive to the top of the falls, where you will have an unforgettable experience and memorable pictures.
Day 3: Game drive & launch cruise
On the 3rd day of 11 days Uganda safari, you will have your morning breakfast from your hotel as you wait for the driver/ guide to come and pick you up from your hotel, have a game drive in the park while observing different animals and the beautiful waterfalls of the River Nile. Animals spotted during game drive include: buffalo, elephants, leopards, hyenas, giraffe, Jackson hartebeest, among others.
After the game drive, you will drive back to the hotel for lunch and relaxation as you wait for the evening boat cruise. During the boat cruise, you will observe certain animals like hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffalo, and elephants, which normally move to the Nile to drink water in the afternoon/ evening.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning, have breakfast, and you will enjoy a walk along the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains, where you will have a glance at the great peak of these mountains of the moon. After the walk, continue with your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with the observation of beautiful scenery. This park is just a 3-hour drive away from Kibale National Park.
This national park is famous for a variety of wildlife species and primate species. This park is the second-largest national park after Murchison Falls National Park. It has a variety of wild species, including the impalas, elephants, buffalo, tree-climbing lions and the cape buffalo, Uganda kobs, and if you’re lucky, you can see baboons.
Day 5: Game drive & launch cruise Queen Elizabeth
You will wake up in the morning breakfast, your guide/ driver will come and pick you up from the hotel, drive you for the game drive in different parts of the park, and you will see various animals like elephants, elands, antelopes, buffaloes, and lions, among others.
Later, return to the lodge, relax and have lunch. During the afternoon, set out for the boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, where you will see various numbers of animals like crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, buffalos, as well as birds like the stork, kingfishers, among others.
Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura to Bwindi
On the 6th day, you will wake up early, have breakfast, prepare for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura, you will be able to spot them, which takes about 3 hours, and after spotting them, you’re given an extra time to have the moment of pictures with them for a memorable experience. After you will departure in Bwindi National Park, where you arrive in the late evening, check into your room for dinner and overstay.
Day 7: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After chimpanzee tracking, you will be sent off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for mountain gorilla tracking, where you will arrive in the late evening. Your driver will drop you off at the hotel for dinner and stay as he comes back in the early morning to pick you up.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
On this day, you will have a great time meeting with mountain gorillas in Bwindi forest. After a tasty breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge, head for a briefing and later enjoy the fullness of the mist forest as you see the gentle giants and order wildlife species like buffaloes, elephants, monkeys, butterflies and different bird species.
Only 1 hour is permitted for you with the gorillas. Trekking takes about 1hour to 8 hours, depending on the location of these gentle giants. After the trek, in the evening, you could go for a guided nature walk or community visits.
Day 9: Lake Mburo National Park
Your guide will pick you up and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park, which is located closer to the president’s home village in Kiruhura District. The park was upgraded to a national park in 1983, covering an area of 371 sq/km and home to over 332 species of birds, as well as animals such as buffalo, Oribis, kobs, and zebras, among others. Upon your arrival, you will check in for your rooms and later head for a natural walk through the park. Have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Game drive & Boat cruise
In the morning, after your breakfast at your lodge, your driver/guide will come and pick you up for the game drive, where you will be treated to amazing sights and wildlife such as impalas, kobs, antelopes, and also different bird species.
After, head back to your lodge for lunch with preparation for an unforgettable experience on the boat cruise ride along the lake. Still, a lot of animals will be seen, like the crocodile and hippos, among others.
Day 11: Departure from Entebbe
After an early breakfast, have a game drive as you get out of the park, and as you start your journey back to Kampala. Have a lunch en route with a stopover at the equator to conduct experiments and take enough photos. Later arrive in Kampala in the evening, or we a drop you off at the airport for your flight.
