Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe airport and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
A representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will meet you at the Entebbe airport, and after connecting, you will head to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. You will have lunch in Masindi town and then arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, where you will check into a lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
Breakfast at the lodge on day 2 of the safari, and then you will have a morning game drive after a briefing. The guide will explain to you about the animals and birds you will meet while on a game drive, and you will return to the lodge after spotting animals like the buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs and many more.
You have lunch at the lodge and after have a boat cruise at the bottom of the falls. You will spend about 2 hours while on a boat cruise with views of the Nile crocodiles, hippos and birds. After the boat cruise, you will hike to the top of the falls to see the amazing views of the Murchison Falls and the force that it uses to splash water. You will then be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will start the journey to Kibale National Park, which will take about 7 hours from Murchison Falls National Park. You will have an enroute lunch, and then you will go ahead with the journey after lunch. You will be received when you arrive at Kibale National Park and you check into a lodge for your dinner meal and a night’s rest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
Breakfast will be given to you early in the morning, and then be briefed at the park headquarters. You will have an armed ranger guide allocated to you, and then you will go for chimpanzee trekking. You will have an hour with the chimpanzees after trekking, and it takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours to find the chimpanzees in the forest. You will return to the lodge after engaging with the chimpanzees, and you will have lunch.
You will have a Bigodi swamp walk in the late afternoon, and you will be able to see several birds that reside at this location, with various encounters of primates and also plant species. You will return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After having breakfast and checking out of the lodge in Kibale National Park on day 5, you will have a transfer from Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stopover at a hotel for lunch and then get to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will get a lodge to stay in and then relax. You will be offered dinner before you retire to bed.

Day 6: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On the 6th day at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have breakfast and then conduct a morning game drive after a briefing. You will see animals like the leopards, elephants, bushbucks, lions, warthogs, buffaloes and many more. You will then leave for the lodge for lunch.
Along the Kazinga channel, you will conduct a boat cruise at 2 pm, and you will explore this channel for about 2 hours with several sights of birds and animals like hippos and crocodiles. You will see sights on the water banks and after you will head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and night rest.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the 7th day, you will have breakfast and leave the lodge before you start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will have views of the landforms and numerous attractions. You will arrive at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and have lunch. After lunch, you will relax and then at the climax of the day, you will have dinner and head to bed for your night’s rest.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast, you will have a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then go for gorilla trekking with your packed lunch. The gorilla trek takes about 1 to 7 hours, and you must not exceed 8 people in a group in order to meet a gorilla family. You will spend one hour with the gorillas and then head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and night rest.
Day 9: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
Breakfast will be given to you on the 9th day of the safari at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and then you will check out of the lodge. You will be transferred by the guide to Mgahinga National Park. You will have lunch at the lodge in Mgahinga and also dinner with be catered for at the same place. You will then retire to bed.

Day 10: Golden monkey trekking
Early morning breakfast at the lodge in Mgahinga, and then you will have a golden monkey trek after a briefing. The golden monkey trek takes about 4 hours while on the search for these playful primates, and an hour is given to you to spend with them after locating them. You will get to see how they play, eat and breastfeed. The guide will take you back to the lodge after capturing videos and pictures. You will then have some rest at the lodge after lunch. In the late evening, you will have dinner and retire to bed.
Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
A guide will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast, and at Lake Mburo National Park, you will spend the rest of the day there with access to lunch, dinner and your night rest.

Day 12: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
Early morning breakfast at the lodge and a transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. You will conduct a morning game drive at Lake Mburo National Park with views of animals like zebras, elephants, buffaloes and many more. You will also see several birds during the game drive.
You will return to the lodge for lunch and then have an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo as you explore the diverse wildlife and ecosystems in this lake. You will then head back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 13: Transfer back to Entebbe airport
Breakfast will be served to you on the last day of the Uganda safari, and you will leave the lodge and meet the guide who will transfer you back to Entebbe airport.
