Day 1: Transfer from Kigali Airport to Volcanoes National Park
On the first day of the 2 days golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park, a guide from our company will meet and interact with you at Kigali Airport. You will interact about the 2 days golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park, and then you start this Rwanda safari with a visit to the Rwanda art museum to have a glance at the eye-catching art pieces and sculptures that portray details about the traditions, culture and traditions of Rwanda.
You will then head to a hotel for lunch in Kigali. You will visit the Kimironko market, where you will meet with the locals who conduct their business in this market. You will see numerous items sold here like baskets, clothes, handbags, art pieces, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, fresh fruits and many more. You will be able to purchase several items of your interest.
You will then be transferred to Volcanoes National Park, and the drive will take approximately 2 hours. You will check into a lodge upon arrival, and you will relax. You will be served dinner, and you retire to bed.

Day 2: Golden monkey trekking and transfer back to Kigali Airport
On the second day of the 2 days golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park, you will have breakfast at the lodge. The guide will transfer you from the lodge and will head to the park headquarters. You will be briefed by the park wardens at the headquarters about the golden monkey trekking. After receiving the guidelines, you will then begin the golden monkey trek with the company of an armed ranger guide.
You will trek through the forest to find the golden monkeys, which will take several hours depending on their location. You will meet several wildlife species as you search for the golden monkeys. After finding them, you will spend 1 hour with them and then you will observe how they play, feed breastfeed among others. You will capture videos and pictures of them. The guide will drive you back to the lodge.
You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out. The guide will drive you back to Kigali Airport or drop you at a hotel in Kigali.
