Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat cruise
On the first day of the 2 days Lake Mburo safari, a driver guide will meet you at a hotel in Kampala and after exchanging greetings, you will go through the safari details. You will then set off to Lake Mburo National Park. You will stop at Kayabwe to visit the equator monument, where you can take pictures before continuing your journey. You will check into a lodge when you arrive at Lake Mburo National Park and then have lunch. After lunch, you will attend a briefing before going on a boat cruise. After receiving the guidelines to follow while on a boat cruise, you will then head to Lake Mburo with a guide. The boat ride will take about 2 hours, and you will be able to spot hippos and crocodiles, as well as numerous aquatic birds. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your night stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala
On the last day of the 2 days Lake Mburo safari, you will have breakfast in the morning and you will be picked up by the guide from the lodge to go to the park headquarters for briefing. The park wardens will tell you how to act on the morning game drive. The morning game drive will be conducted for about 3 to 4 hours. You will have sightings of numerous animals and birds while on the game drive. Some of the animals that you will see include zebras, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, leopards, hyenas, bushbucks, jackals, topi, elands, warthogs, and many more. Some of the birds that you will spot include the grey crowned crane, African fish eagle, shoebill, African finfoot, and many more. The guide will return you to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
You will check out of the lodge after the lunch meal and then the guide will transfer you back to Kampala with a stopover at Mpambire drum makers for a cultural experience. You will get to learn how the drums are made at Mpambire Drum Makers, and after that, you will continue the journey to Kampala and arrive at a hotel. That will be the end of the 2 days Lake Mburo safari.
