3 Day Serengeti National Park | Great Migration Safari.
A 3 Days Serengeti Migration Safari is a short yet exciting safari experience opportunity to explore the famous and popular Serengeti National Park to witness the most spectacular wildlife in the world, which is known as the Wildebeest Migration that is commonly known as the annual Great Migration. This offers you the chance to witness large herds of over 2 million wildebeests accompanied by over a hundred gazelles and zebras on their annual migration through the park as they are searching for water and green pastures.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning by your Tanzania safari guide, who will then brief you about the safari and start your journey to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will be witnessing incredible views as you pass through Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Upon arrival at the park, you will be welcomed by the stunning landscapes and then enjoy your first game drive as you drive to your lodge and check in for lunch. After lunch, transfer to the park for the game drive to see the park’s spectacular animal species, including the big five mammals like lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos and leopards; and many others, including wildebeest, zebras and cheetahs, among many others. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-day game drive following the wildebeest migration.
After breakfast, go to the park for a full-day game drive while following the wildebeest migration; this is where you will enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch. During the experience, you will follow the herds as they look for the green pastures and water. In addition to watching the large herds, you will spot the predators as they follow the herds, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, African wild dogs, and others.
In the middle of the day, enjoy your picnic lunch located in one of the picnic sites and enjoy your meals under the conducive shade, and after your lunch, go to the park again for another game drive while exploring Serengeti National Park. Later, return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then enjoy your final en route game viewing experience, seeing the different animal and bird species as you exit the park, and then drive back to Arusha. On arrival, you will be dropped off either at your hotel in Arusha or at the airport for your departure flight back home that will bring your 3 days Serengeti Migration Safari to an end.
