Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi and transfer to Amboseli National Park with an afternoon game drive
In the morning, a professional guide from Chopper Tour and Travel meets you in Nairobi at the hotel and briefs you about the safari. After receiving an overview of the safari, the guide drives you to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at the park, check into a lodge, followed by lunch. Later in the afternoon, a briefing is conducted at the park headquarters, where park rules and safety guidelines will be explained to you about how the game drives are conducted. Afterwards, the guide will take you for an afternoon game drive across the open plains of Amboseli.
You will be introduced to the park’s rich wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other species. After spending about three to four hours exploring the park, the driver guide will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge, and then you will depart from the lodge for a full-day game drive. After a briefing by the park wardens, the game drive will begin around 6:30 am. During the morning game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, and many more.
A picnic lunch will be served at a designated location within the park, and afterwards, you will go for another game drive in the afternoon when temperatures cool, and this is when wildlife becomes active again. This game drive will reward you with the chance to see animals that you did not spot in the morning. At the end of the day, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara and an afternoon game drive
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and start the journey to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival at the reserve, you will check into the booked lodge and settle in. You will be served lunch. Later in the day, the guide will transfer you to the headquarters for an afternoon briefing conducted by park guides. This briefing will enable you to understand the guidelines to follow while conducting an afternoon game drive.
You will start the afternoon game drive with the company of an experienced guide who will give you details about the animals and ecosystems of Masai Mara. The wildlife that you are most likely to see includes giraffes, gazelles, zebras, and many other species roaming freely in the plains. The drive lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours before returning to the lodge. Dinner will be served in the evening, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-day game drive in Masai Mara and return to Nairobi
You will first have an early morning breakfast on the final day and then leave the lodge for a morning game drive starting around 6:00 am. You will first be briefed before setting off for the game drive. The morning time is the best for wildlife viewing because it is when the animals are very active. While on the morning game drive, you will spot animals like the elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, elands, and numerous bird species.
After the morning game drive, lunch will be a picnic lunch, and after that, the second session of the full-day game drive will start, enabling you to explore areas not visited earlier and at the end of the day, the guide will transfer you back to Nairobi, marking the end of the 4 days Amboseli and Masai Mara Safari.
