5 days Kibale and Bwindi will give you the unexceptional tour to two Ugandan national parks with different activities and attractions. Bwindi impenetrable national park is world-famous for its population of mountain gorillas, it’s said to be keeping 120 mammals’ species, 350 bird species and 310 butterfly species recorded. Kibale national park is well known for its primates, it’s also called in southern western Uganda near fort portal town. Kibale was renowned for its primate diversity and the park is a home of 13 species of primates including the habituated chimpanzee communities, endangered red colobus monkey, and L’Hoests monkeys. These parks are focusing on primate tracking, nature walks and cultural experience.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: arrival & transfer to kibale national park

You will be welcomed by our own representative, who will come and pick you up from the Entebbe airport, brief you about the 5 days Kibale and Bwindi Safari, you will have the tour city around Kampala capital city as you get out of the town. You will have the en- route I fort portal town for lunch, have a tour in Amabere Nga Nyina Mwiru, blue lake and continue to kibale national park in the evening, check in for lodge and dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: chimpanzee tracking & Bigodi wetlands walk

 On the 2nd day, you will wake up very early in the morning, have your breakfast and meet your drive who will drive you to the headquarters for briefing, you will be advised to adhere to the rules and regulations of the chimpanzee trekking, during trekking you will also have a bigodi wetland walk where you will spot the different types of bird during nature walk. After a long day, you will return to the lodge for relaxation.

5 days Kibale and Bwindi Safari

Day 3: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

On your 3rd day, you will wake up early prepare for the journey to southwestern Uganda in Kisoro district. You will drive through the rift valley, you pass through the rolling hills, tea and coffee plantations, and traditional farmlands. You may opt to pass through the Queen Elizabeth national park, have a game drive in Kisenyi plains after you continue and drive to mbarara town have lunch head to Bwindi, arriving in the late evening check in the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking & batwa cultural experience

On the 4th day, you will ake up for breakfast, meet your guide or driver who will drop you at the headquarters for briefing about trekking in Bwindi, after you will be given the experienced guide who will take you through the trekking process after spotting chimps, you will give an extra hour to stay with them, have moment of pictures. After trekking you will have to visit the batwa community were they give some certain help to the need and share the best moment with the local community for short time. After long day of two activities, you will come back to your lodge for dinner and night stay.

 Day 5: Return to Kampala

The last day of 5 days kibale national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park, you will wake up early have your leisure breakfast, the guide will drive you out of the lodge and start your journey back to Kampala with the journey take s about 7-8 hours. The driver will drop you at either at the hotel or Entebbe international airport depending on your next flight.
