- Murchison falls national Park
Murchison falls national park is the largrst national park in Uganda and is situated in 4 districts of Uganda which include Buliisa, Kiryandongo, Masindi and Nyowa. This park is located in the north western part of Uganda. This park is easily accessible by road or by air transport. It is a home to over 76 mammal species and about 500 bird species.

- Bwindi impenetrable national park
Bwindi impenetrable is one of the national parks located in Uganda and its among the top safaris destinations that Uganda owns. This park is positioned in the south western part of Uganda and it us situated on an area of 321 square kilometers and is on the edge of the rift valley. Bwindi impenetrable national stretches to 3 districts of Uganda that is Kanungu, Kabale and Kisoro.
The attractions found in Bwindi impenetrable national park include birds, animals, mountain gorillas, ancient rainforests, hiking trails, the batwa pygmy people and many more. - Queen Elizabeth national park
Queen Elizabeth national park is situated in the western part of Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park stretches to 4 districts of Uganda namely Kasese, Kamwenge, Bushenyi and Rukungiri. This park was named after the Queen Elizabeth and this was done after her visit to Uganda. This park is famous for harboring the rare tree climbing lions.
Queen Elizabeth national park is a haven to about 95 mammal species and 600 bird species. This park also has a lot of attractions which include the tree climbing lions, birds, kyambura gorge, equator, katwe salt works, wildlife, kazinga channel, omwani coffee plantations, local communities and many more. - Kidepo valley national park
Kidepo valley national park that was gazetted in 1962 and is situated on 1442 square kilometers. This park is located in the Karamoja re3in the north eastern part of uganda. This park was firs gazetted as a game reserve in 1958 by the British colonialists. Kidepo valley national park is a shelter to over 76 mammal species and about 465 bird species.
Kidepo valley national park has a number of attractions which include lomej hills, lonyili mountains, Narus valley, mount morungule, apoka tourism center, namamukweny valley, kidepo valley, kanangorok hot springs and many more. This park also has a variety of activities that it offers to visitors namely bird watching, wildlife viewing, game drives, hiking, nature walks, cultural tours and many more.
- Lake mburo national park
Lake mburo national park is famous for having a good number of the impala population though it has other wildlife. This park is situated in kiruhura district in nyabushizi County and it is in the western part of uganda. This park is seated on 260 square kilometers. This park is a home to over 58 mammal species and about 350 bird species.
Lake mburo national park has a lot of attractions that visitors across the globe come to see and these include birds, wildlife, lakes, rubanga forest, local communities and many more. - Semuliki national park
Semuliki national park is situated in the western part in uganda in bundibugyo district in bwamba county. Semuliki national park was gazetted in 1993 and it situated on 219 square kilometers. Semuliki national park is a home to over 441 bird species and about 53 mammal species. This park for being the best spot for bird watching since it has a good number of bird species.
The attractions found in Semuliki national park include sempaya hot springs, semuliki river, chimpanzees, local communities, birds, wildlife and many more. Semuliki national park also has a lot of activities that it has to offer to its visitors making it one of Uganda’s top national parks for safaris. - Mgahinga national park
Mgahinga national park is situated in the south western part of uganda. This park is seated of 33.7 square kilometers. Mgahinga national park is a home to over 76 mammal species and 115 bird species. This park positioned in Kisoro district in bufumbira county. This park us famous for harboring a large number of gorillas.
There a lot of attractions in mgahinga national park and these are birds, mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, virunga volcanoes, caves, mammals, batwa pygmy people and many more. There are also a lot of activities carried out at this park during safaris and these include game drives, gorilla trekking, golden monkey tracking, hiking, bird watching, batwa trail experience, volcano climbing and many more.
- Kibale national park
Kibale national park is popular for it population of chimpanzees and it is situated in the western part of Uganda. Kibale national park is a home to over 375 bird species and it covers 4 districts of uganda which include kyenjojo, Kamwenge, Kabarole and Kasese.
Kibale national park has a lot of attractions and these include birds, primates, forest, culture and many more. - Mount elgon national park
Mountain elgon national park national park is located in the Eastern part of uganda. - Rwenzori mountains national park
Rwenzori mountains national park is located in the south western region of uganda. This park is positioned in the rwenzori mountains and is us a UNESCO heritage site. This lark is seated on about 1000 square kilometers. This park has a lot of attractions which include snow peaks, birds, Rwenzori lakes, wildlife and many more.
